Cons of Building on Land in a Trust

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arkansas

We are thinking about building a house on my father-in-law's farm which is in an undivided trust (3 children)...I am afraid to do this but I do not know what all the legal ramifications could be. I know that you wouldn't be able to get financing on your home. And I know that you could never sell your home. One of my primary concerns is what if something happens to my husband before his parents die?
