Personal rep wishes to sell non real personal property to help pay mortagages on real property. Is court approval required to advertise and sale property when the heirs are all in agreement in oklahoma? Urgent please reply as soon as possible.

You do not have an attorney handling probate? If money is needed ommediately to pay for the mortgage - and all heirs agree, I would suggest that the personal rep prepare a detailed accoutn of twhat property is to be sold - the amount received from the sale of the personal property - and a complete accoutnig of where the proceeds from the sale went. This will keep a clear record of all assest for presentation to the probate court.

Just one caution - if the personal property is listed in the will as being a gift to someone in particular, the personal rep cannot dispose of that property without approval of the court -
