My father is now terminally ill and owns a small business. His hospital bills are large. Will the descendants have to sell the business to pay the bill?

Notwithstanding any other means of paying the hospital bills, the answer is "Yes."

I know that he has already started talking to people who may want to buy it, but if it does not sell, what happens then?
