What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

Question....Are wills public knowledge. If you go to the country courthouse, would anyone be able to obtain a copy of a will and/or trust?

If probated, yes. They are accessible to the public absent some protective order. A protective order would be extremely rare.

Trust might not be public. It depends if it were recorded. It doesn't have to be recorded, nor probated.
