What is the name of your state? Louisiana.

My grandmother died in 2002 with no will. Owned property. She had only one child ,my father. My parents divorced thirty years ago. Divorce settlement, split property owned by them. Father remarried and built house on property. Father died 2004 with will leaving everything to his wife. He did not disinherit me but I was not named in the will. Do I have any writes to anything?

At one time, Louisiana was one of the few states where a person could not disinherit an adult child.

So, my best advice is for you to find a good probate attorney and ask him.
