I have a friend who passed away. He has no will and has a house under joint tenant title.
So the house is going to transfer to the survivor owner. The question is what documentation (i.e. what other than death certification) do we need to make the transfer?
And where can we make this transfer? a local county office? or ?
2nd, he also has a car. What documenation do we need to transfer the car to the heir? And where to make this transfer happen?
