I read earlier that children are not responsible for their parents' debts beyond what the estate can pay OR unless the children have given the impression they will pay the debt. If I have sent my personal checks to my grandmother's creditors because she doesn't have a checking account, does that mean I am responsible for paying her debt after she dies?
