Situation:My mother passed away in Oct. I am an only child
no will - I was her benificiary for all things - So I did not form an estate

Mobile home (no land) is in both her name and mine(no/little equity)
About $5,000 from disability and hospitalization insurance
A car that was left to me after being paid off by death insurance
(car worth about $3,000)

Should I have formed an estate based on this? If so, what can I do now?

I received a bill that is asking to be paid by her "estate"
Am I responsible for her debts?
Can they come after me?

Thank you
