I am in the first quarter of 2001 going to receive an inheritance from a relative who passed away in June of 2000. The estate should be settled and distributed by the end of the first quarter of 2001. I'm pretty certain the estate was not in the $600,000 plus range, so there was no federal tax liability. But the inheritance that will come to me will be subject to Pa. death tax and I believe City of Phila. death tax since my relative was a resident of Phila. Can you tell me what the percentages are for both Pa. and Phila. death taxes? Thank you.
