Hello,
I have been advised today that I will be receiving some papers containing Executor's Account information that I will have to approve as part of the process for fullfilling the Gift left to me (and my sister) by my recently departed Gradmother.
The thing is that I am a Canadian currently living in Japan.
Now, I have been instructed that I will need to go to a lawyer to help me with accepting (or possibly not) accepting the information on the Executor's account. My main question here is will I need a lawyer that specializes in Canadian law to get the best advice, or will any English speaking lawyer suffice (American, Aussie, etc...) ?
I hope my question is clear...
Thanks!
