What is the name of your state? texas
well i confronted my grandma with all the evidence i have obtained. she got very upset and said it was none of my business if she wanted to give all her money away. i said, that's right, but your not giving it away, your granddaughter is stealing it from your account and obtaining credit cards in your name to the tune of $34000.00. i am still upset, the only thing i can do is report it to adult protective services as financial abuse of an elder. then the whole family will be mad at me for something the granddaughter did. i would just go away but i'm an heir to my grandmas estate, and i don't want it taken away by thieving relatives. your opinions? thanks, wes

You asked for opinions.

Well, my opinion is that Grandma has the right to spend every d*** penny of HER money, and with the behavior of her heirs, she better get busy.

Live it up, Grandma!

Cruises, casinos, companions...

PS

Hey, Greedy, it is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!

spending

well, that is all good and well if she gave it through a gift, but when it is cashed out of her account without her knowledge and credit cards obtained in here name by forgery, i'd say that is a different story, which is the case here.

Well, you told Grandma, and she said it was none of your business, right?

your not getting the point

it's not that i want here money! it's the fact that a damn relative takes a 91 year olds money, besides the state of texas would lock her up for doing it if i report it, it is illegal to take advantage of an elder by taking her money. read the law...

You didn't say Grandma was incompetent

If your family would be mad at you for reporting this, you have bigger problems. Talk to your sibling or cousin that is doing this, and if there is a good reason, fine. If not, and your grandmother is incompetent, then bring it up and confront your relative.

If you won't do that, then let it go.
