What is the name of your state? North Carolina. My husband has alzeimer's. Our home isn't paid for. He does have some life insurances. Sinces we have no other assets I will have to ask Social Services for help when it is time to admit him into a rest home. The question is if he is in a rest home will Social Services take his life insurance to help pay them back for the money they have helped with toward his care.
