I would like to know if in that state of Ohio if a child can be held responsible for a deceased parents death. If so what kind of debts.

DEAR BRIAR PATCH:

I think maybe you have a typographical error in your message. Surely you don't mean that a child can be responsible for a parent's "death"--you meant "debts" didn't you? No, the child can not be held responsible. The bills will unfortunately have to remain unpaid if there is not enough money in the estate assets to pay it.
