I'm in California.

How do I deal with including "royalty checks" in my will? I'm concerned they might go on for decades after my death.

My current will divides my assets into a specific percentages (mostly investments) for 20 recipients/organization. But I don't want to make anyone divide up royalty checks that might go on forever. Should I just say something in my will like "all royalty checks should go to ----- organization" just to keep things simple? I'm into simple. Thanks!
