What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? I live in Jersey City New Jersey. My dad is currently hospitalized and incoherent. I am his Power of Attorney (medical and financial). The POA was filed with the County Register as he is the owner of property. However, one of my sister's has the key to his house and is refusing me access to obtain his financial information so I can get authorization from his banking establishment to pay bills. The hospital has a copy of the POA for medical. I don't know what to do. Please advise.
