What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? UK

Hello,

My great grandfather was Greek and had a great deal of land in one of the Greek islands. My grandmother is his only descendant. He died almost 50 years ago, and my grandmother has ever made an attempt to claim any of this land. He made no will.

Is my grandmother entitled to anything? How can I find out the particulars of the land? If someone else claimed it, can it be appealed so far after?

Thank you.

Since title was never changed if probate was not done, it can probably be done now. Consult an attorney who practices on that island.
