Hi,

I'm asking this question from the state of Louisiana.I would like to know how to go about reporting someone that has gotten a two point six million dollar
inheritance [in money] three years ago & has not report it to the IRS.This person is also on full disability and how much trouble would they be in?

Thanks,

There is no such thing as a federal inheritance tax. There's an estate tax, but that's paid by the administrator of the estate NOT by the person receiving the money.
