In the state of texas, if my grandmother (her husband died several years ago & she never remarried) has no will at the time of her death, or a will that does not specifically exclude anyone, how is her estate distributed. she had 3 three children, 2 still living and my father who died 10 years ago. does my father's portion of the inheritance directly go to me (his only child)?
thank you.

That's my understanding, as the child of a deceased child takes the parent's share in these circumstances.
