We are looking into hiring an attorney in Colorado. How are estate or probate lawyers paid, by hour, percentage, etc.? What is the usuall percentage or fee?

Executor fees in Colorado are only defined as "reasonable compensation". You would need to speak directly with a probate attorney to find out the exact rate, or visit the county courthouse to look up a recent probate file to see what executors are recently charging.
