the trust left by my parents has the wrong legal description listed. both are deceased now, trying to refinance home in my name, lawyer who drew up the trust says it now needs to go to probate. please tell me if there's another option. thank you.

It really depends on how incorrect the document is -- if it's a simple typo I bet the court can handle it as a reformation, but if it is major, probate is likely the approach.
