What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
Mom and Dad have a living trust in which upon the death of either trustor, the Trust property becomes allocated into 2 trusts designated as Trust A and Trust B (B becomes irrevocable). Mom and Dad were in agreement on all trust provisions. Dad died last year. What actions must Mom take regarding the trust at this time? For instance...

A bank 1 account that was in the trust has matured, and for better interest Mom wants to open in bank 2 a CD, also in the trust. Bank 2 already has some accounts of theirs in the trust. Bank 2 has created the new account in Mom's name, not the trust's.

Is it required that Mom change the name of the Trust from The ABC Family Trust, dated June 30, 1998, John Q ABC and May Z ABC, Trustors and/or Trustees, for the benefit of the ABC family? Thanks for any help.
