Are there any circumstances that would allow a doctor or hospital to disregard a Living Will?

YES. iF THE PERSON WHO WROTE IT WAS NOT MENATLLY COMPETENT AT THE TIME OF EXECUTION or if there were errors in the form of the living will. Doctors are not judges, and sometimes it is necessary to get a court order to enforce the Living Will.
