What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia
Is there a way to protect your saving in case of a serious illness, law suit or any other old people problems? I worked hard for what I have and would like to pass it on to my children at my death.

Thanks

You can consult with an estate planning attorney, however for the most part its really difficult to protect your savings against the potential needs of your old age...particularly medical needs.
