My family trust

My parents set up a family trust in California a long time ago and the attorney that set that trust up retired I know someone else took over those records but can not find that info my mom died now and I need it

How to find out who to go to now?

Any help would be greatful

Who is/was the trustee? Is there a successor trustee named in the document?

I have the records I need help and questions on how the form Addidavit for Collection of Personal Property works and how to fill it out to collect some money my mom got after she died

Not enough information here. Take all your paperwork to an attorney.

OK. It sounds as if this does not have anything to do with the trust. The trust only covers property that was transferred into the trust.

There are a number of websites that provide information on the California Affidavit for Transfer of Personal Property. For example:

You could also find an attorney to help, probably at a modest fee.
