What is the name of your state? Texas
My wife passed away in MAY of 2007, in her will, she left everything to me, her husband, we had everything in my name, or her name togeather, is there a need to have her woll probated ?

If there is absolutely nothing in her name alone, there is no need to probate the will (because there is no property to go through probate).

Ask the clerk of the probate court if there is a way you can just file (or deposit) the will with the court. Some states allow that.

It's just to show that there is a will. If, for example, you would find out in a year or so that your wife was due some money, then the will would still be good.

Each state varies. I don't know what your state does.
