Need Help Property Deed

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

I have a quick question can anybody help me out. Why do the Deed have four names only three poeple and one of the person have two names on the deed. What does this mean on the deed have a/k/a for my younger brother and younger sister. My sister have two names on the deed and my younger brother and sister have an a/d/a next to there name on the deed.
