In the State of Virginia, is it necessary for a Notary Public to witness the siging of wills? Must a notary be present when witnesses sign ?

It might not be necessary for the notary public to witness the signing (that is the purpose of having the other 2-3 witnesses), but it would be more professional to have it signed in the presence of the notary, since that would seem to make the signature more official.
