Probate who pays
My mom passed away in Northern California and now I have an Uncle I dont even know in charge of the estate. Who pays the probate tax? I thought it was paid from the estate its self, am I wrong?

Please explain what you mean by the "probate tax". You may possibly be correct about it being an expense that the estate is supposed to pay for, since most probate expenses are taken care of in this fashion.
