problems with executor

it has been almost 2 yrs since my wifes father passed away.Her sister is the executor of their fathers will but noone has seen any of their inheiritance the executor will not even retunr our calls.
Father passed away in Tx. Executor lives in Tx. We live in Az.

Inquire with the county court house in the county in which the deceased lived if the will was filed for probate and the status of the proceeding. And ask the executor about it, in writing. If you do not like the answers, or continue to get none, get a lawyer in that county to check on it for you.
