my grandfather passed away 4yrs. ago he had property in new hampshire that got left to my grandmother but she is in a nursing home and we afraid that the states going to take it when she passes away even though it's in her will to go to my mother and my uncle , i was told by someone that this happened to, that as long as it is a family members place of residence that the state will not be able to take it away is this true if not is there any thing at all that i can do to keep it the place needs work and i don't want to put a lot of money into repairs to loose it in the end
