What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA
I am in coexecutorship with my sister for my father's estate and there has been a lot of disagreement over the way money has been spent to renovate his house. I am afraid she will try to turn the entire executorship over to me and I need to know if she can do this without my consent or without me signing papers with our lawyer.

Assuming that you two received appointment from the court...

The court could release her. And, since there is already another executor, I don't see why the court would not allow her to resign.
