My father, who is in his late eighties, and has
altiemerzs diease, owns 500 acears of land, had at
one time had a will leaveing the land to me and my children.
now he has a woman in her 40's liveing with him , has somehow
managed to get the will changed, where everything will be left to her
I think what she has done is had a new will prepared and he just signed it, not knowing what it was, he does not remember anyone
and doesnt even know that he has property, she has taken full advantage
of this fact, we had recently found out that she has done this to
other older men in able to get there land after they pass away,
My main question is, Can we have an attorney or doctor to sign some
sort of form stateing that he is not able to make decisions for himself? and to get her name off the will and have mine and my childrens name put back on it? My father and mother worked hard for
this land and there farm. And I would hate to see it just giveing away
to someone other then the family. The main problem is that he does not remember anyone. Please I need advice on what to do.
