What is the name of your state? California
will left house to 4 heirs-because of fathers bad health, we refinanced for $150k,
quit deeded house to 1 heir, paid off debts.father died leaving $100k in joint acct
of father & heir. Heir has control of deed & control of cash, & has spent a large
amount to date. Will clearly states everything to be split equally.do i have a
prayer of getting my share

Sorry, but no. The will has no control on or effect on the bank account, which is a separate business matter--that money goes directly to the account co-owner.

Why was the home "quit deeded", as you say, to the heir?

Are there any other assets in the estate?

Quit Deed

Another son(#2) ran up $15,000.00 in debt on various credit cards.#1 used
my dads VISA to square all his debts (supposedly to qualify for loan)I was told
that because of my fathers fixed income & bad health he needed a second
person on the deed(#1 also took $30,000.00 off the top to pay off his
other house) to qualify
