My Wife and I executed wills while residents of Connecticut several years ago. We are now Florida residents and return to Connecticut 5 months out of the year. The wills executed in Connecticut were done by a Lawyer in that State. These wills now need some minor changes.

Can I copy these wills, make the minor changes (i.e. executor, place and type of burial) myself. Can I use a Notary and witnesses to validate the wills?

Also, will there be a problem if one of us dies in Connecticut during the 5 months we are visiting? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?
