What is the name of your state? Michigan

What is the reasonable and customary fee and executor may expect for an estate of approximately $100,000?

Thanks!

The reasonable fee is the actual cost to do the work. The fees used by attorneys are often outrageous from my experience. If it is a simple situation, there is no reason to charge based on the value of the estate.

It is a bit unlikely that a Michigan probate attorney would be reading this message board, so you really need to consult with a local probate attorney to get your question answered about this. The law only mentions the fee as "reasonable compensation" so that is a loophole that they can use to charge whatever they want, but normally the fee should be no more than 6% of estate value.
