My Father-in-law passed away in CA and made my kids are beneciaries of living trust. My father-in-law and my wife had not spoken in years and there are ill feelings with the father-in-law's local relatives that my kids were beneficiaries. The successor trustee is the young daugther of one of the father-in-law's brothers and I think she will be heavily influenced to bleed the trust so that there will be no assets left. My kids are supposed to receive a lump sum at 18, in 13 years. How do I find out the assets of the trust and, if necessary, prove negligence and have her removed as trustee.
