question: My mother qualified for medicare & medicaid while in nursing home. During her stay in the nursing home she qualified as a litigant in an asbestosis class action lawsuit. She is now deceased and an estate established. Notice will be going out in the local paper to run for 90 days. My question is " will the federal government have any rights to any proceeds from the settlements?".
