What is the name of your state? CALIFORNIA

On my will it shows my place of residents as San Mateo, County. I now live in Placer county. Do I have to change my will showing Placer county, and if so how?

You don't have to, but it would be wise if you did. It is state law that is going to govern, so the main thing you need to be sure of, if you have not already done so, is to have a probate attorney review your will. Can't your attorney have his secretary retype it or make the correction easily via word processing?
