My mother had her will in Kentucky and she recently died there. I have her will and over 2/3 of her assests go to my deceased sister, thus her kids. What could happen if I claim that there is no will?

DEAR BIGDWIGHT:

You could face criminal charges of fraud or something similar. It's not worth it to try to deceive the court, because the truth will eventually come out. Get the will filed as soon as possible so that your relatives can receive what is rightfully theirs--treat people the way you would want to be treated if you were named as the beneficiary.

SINCERELY,
