What is the name of your state? Missouri

My father passed away and did not leave any property or assets to any of his 3 children in his will. Everything went to his second wife.

His death occured in 1986. Is it too late to contest?

It probably is too late, but don't assume that a Missouri probate lawyer will be reading this message board, because there probably won't be one. Back in 1986, you should have taken a copy of the will to a local probate lawyer to have him/her evaluate it to see if there were any weaknesses in the language--if children were not specifically disinherited by name then it's possible you may have had a chance to contest. Take a copy of the will to a local attorney and get your questions answered.
