Florida. My dad recently passed away; he had a will and irrevocable trust which is good but the problem is that the executor is trying to find out the worth of assets if it's under $675,000. Only problem is he's including stocks that my dad, my brother and I were on, not the grandkids. Question: If my brother, myself and my dad were on a stock if my dad died do me and my brother get the stock?
Does it have to be included in the estate?? and If so, will we get it back to me and my brother only and not put it into the estate (the estate he split 4 ways; to me, my brother and 2 grandkids)?? Please help??
