Can a Tax Sheltered Annuity be put into a Revocable Living Trust?
I suppose that it could. But what are the reasons for doing so? The major reason for establishing a living trust is to avoid the time and possble expense of probate and/or the privacy that a living trust provides but probate does not.

Wouldn't naming one or more beneficiaries to the annuity accomplish the same thing?

I am not real knowledgeable on the subject, but annuities, annuity ownership changes, and trusts can become very complicated for tax purposes. If you go ahead with this, consult a knowledgeable tax professional first.

Investigate the tax advantages of making an individual the death beneficiary of an IRA type account. Look at the required minimum distribution requirements of an individual verses that of an estate.
