i live in in michigan. my mother recently passed away. her house was paid off by her but somehow the property was put in a quick claim deed in the neighbors name. they have no interest in the property and said she will sign it over to be. is that legal.
also there are other children can i have this put in my name
with out there consent. is there anyway they can stop me from having this put in my name. there was no will that we know of.

Are you SURE the title was validly in the neighbor's name? That is VERY strange. Is it a forged deed?

IF it was validly in the neighbor's name the neighbor can deed it to you. You can then deed it to you and your kids.
