When my father passed away he left Trust for me. My CPA is the Trustee and I am the Co-trustee. What would be reasonable Trustee's fees? There are 3 accounts: an inherited IRA acct., and an exempt GST Trust and a nonexempt GST trust acct. I realize it depends on the amount of money in the accounts and the actual time he spends working on it. But could you give me an example? or a percentage?
Thank you
I am located in Colorado

"reasonable Trustee's fees" should depend on the amount of time the CPA actually spends on the trust. Unfortunately, they can milk it for as much as they would like. Why don't you take control of the trust as the sole trustee?
