I am a resident alien, not a US citizen, living in the US. My husband is a US citizen and our daughter has dual citizenship. It is my understanding that I will get taxed more on estate and my husband's life insurance if/when he dies. Can anybody tell me the percentage of the taxes? Can he write a will and give everything to our daughter and avoid the taxes that way? He owes some land, which I would want to sell, if he passed away because then my daughter and I would move back to my home country. Thanks!
