we are in California. my wifes uncle just passed and willed his portion of a house to 4 people. the problem is that his portion of the house was never put in his name. the house is still in his mothers name and she passed 8 years ago. we just found her will the day after the uncle died and she left it to the uncle, my father-in-law and another uncle who has passed. is my father-in-law entitled to the whole house? or does the house get legally distributed between the three and if they have passed get distributed via their wills? Help me to understand this situation.
