if you have a deed to some property and then a will comes along, which one supersedes the other?

Please clarify your situation.

The deed will usually supersede, but there might be exceptions.

Who does the will say the property should go to, and what does the deed say? Is there a possibility that at some point in the past, the deed was supposed to have been changed to someone else's name and that was not done?

SINCERELY,
