West Virginia. The executor, the attorney who prepared the will, for my grandmother's will has died. How do we go about finding the deed to the property now that the attorney has died?

DEAR CIPOLAT:

So sorry about your loss and the fact that the attorney is no longer around. If you still have the original signed will it can be submitted for probate.

Contact the county courthouse (of the city where the property is located), perhaps the county assessor's office or something similarly named, and they can tell you the process for getting the deed.

SINCERELY,
