What is the name of your state? CT

I want to leave some money to relatives. If I list a certain amount for each but then I have either more or less than what I originally list for each, how does it get disbursed? Does it make a difference the order the gifts are listed, in case not enough money? or does it become a percentage for each? And how do I state my wish if any "leftover" money?
Thanks,

You need to contact a lawyer to help you set up a will. You might want to set it up as a % to each of the total amt. you want to leave them. If any add'l. assets left, you can request that the assets go to an individual (all to one person) - or equally (or a %) to more than one individual. A lawyer can answer all of your questions & get things set up the way you want.
