What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? RI

If you have a will and you go see an attorney to create a new one which will is valid if you die before it is signed.

The answer lies in the question. How can there be “which” when only one signed will exists?

If you are asking does the mere intention to change an existing will have any legal consequence, the answer is a categorical no.
